II motif of the Figure with the Sun behind its back first made its appearance in 1975. The title makes explicit the relationship that exists in most of these paintings between light and color, which no longer has an exclusively mechanical value but, from this moment, also a symbolic one. At the same time, it signals to us the presence of a fixed element, silhouetted against the celestial horizon, around which a circular parabola develops. In structure, the painting repeats the appearance of the older drawing, where the image has not reached the final archetypal form and still airs figurative modes.
