Visits dedicated to SOUND MEMORIES are back in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Florence.

sound memories 2025

See through words and sounds with the Sound Memories project tours. Tours for everyone, created by the thematic museum network "Museums for All" in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind of Florence.

The MUSEUMS OF ALL Network offers Memorie Sonore, the mobile app available in the Fiesole Archaeological Area, the Primo Conti Museum, the Museo degli Innocenti and the Palazzo Vecchio Museum.

Visitors will have access to a kit consisting of a dedicated audio device, a tactile navigation map, and special bone conduction headphones, allowing them to experience the museums in a new immersive way, where sound becomes an additional key to understanding the works, the architecture, and the part of the city that hosts them.

The network's museums, in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Florence, are organizing a series of special visits where sighted and non-sighted visitors will share the same experience: participants will be guided through the various soundscapes, thus establishing a stimulating relationship with the works and the museum spaces beyond the visual channel.
