In 1927, Enrico Prampolini founded the Téatre de la Pantomime Futuriste in Paris, directed in collaboration with the dancer Maria Ricotti. With its choreographic and mime experiments, which also toured Italy, the Téatre de la Pantomime Futurista represents the last major example of avant-garde tension within Futurist spectacular research.
The Futurist Pantomime Theatre Fund is divided into the following sections: Correspondence, which contains a letter from Fillia (pseudonym of Luigi Colombo) to G.Mazzesi, dated 5 May 1931; Various, which collects rare printed material, mostly pamphlets, with an indication of the programmes and repertoire of the shows performed in Paris and Italy.; Periodicals, which preserves a copy of “On the screen: illustrated weekly: cinema, theatre, current affairs”, Rome, A.1,n.1 (1-8 November 1927)
