Fondo Futurista

The Collection comprises an important bibliographic collection of approximately five hundred volumes, including numerous early Futurist editions and catalogs of exhibitions and conferences on Futurism. These volumes are accompanied by an interesting press review and various materials, including posters, brochures, and advertising sheets, all relating to the avant-garde climate of the early twentieth century. A significant presence includes publications from the Futurist period and, more broadly, the avant-garde. Among the authors included are Marinetti—Filippo Tommaso and Benedetta—Buzzi, Cangiullo, Cervelli, Chiti, Corra, D'Alba, Depero, Di Bosso, Farfa, Fillia, Folgore, Folicaldi, Ginna, Ginanni, Mazza, Meriano, Govoni, Lucini, Palazzeschi, Papini, Settimelli, Severini, and Soffici; Among the titles were "Atys. International Art and Literature Journal," "Battles," "The Futurist City," "Futurist Dynamo," "Electrons," "Futurism. A Synthetic Illustrated Magazine," "San'Elia," "Artecrazia," "Futurist Italy," "Lacerba," "The Futurist Lightning," "Futurist Mediterranean," "Modernity," "We," "New Futurism," "Today and Tomorrow," "Poetry," "Procellaria," "Latin Quarter," "Rebirth," "Futurist Rome," "Futurist Supremacy," "Futurist Style," "Theater," and "Latin Sail." Scholars who contributed to the avant-garde movements and Futurism in particular included Maurizio Fagiolo dell'Arco, Luciano Caruso, Enrico Crispolti, Corrado Marsan, Giovanni Lista, Maurizio Calvesi, Tommaso Paloscia, and Mario Verdone.
