(Rome, 1895 – Rome, 1959), a politician, was one of the founders of fascism. In 1919, already active in the Futurist movement, Bottai met Mussolini and collaborated in the founding of the Fasci di Combattimento; he participated in the March on Rome and from 1929 to 1932, as Minister of Corporations, he developed the "Charter of Labor", the basis of the corporative system. He then became Minister of National Education from 1936 to 1943 and in 1940 he founded the magazine "Primato". On July 25, 1943, together with other leaders, he joined theagenda Grandi, a motion that put Mussolini in a minority. Having fled to Algeria in 1944, he was amnestied in 1947 and was able to return to Italy, where he founded the magazine "ABC," which he served as editor of until his death.

The Giuseppe Bottai Fund, donated to the Foundation in 1992, is made up of the sections Correspondence e ManuscriptsThe first one hosts the numerous letters sent by Bottai from 1914 to 1919 to his fiancée Nelia (Cornelia) Ciocca, whom he married in 1920, and some letters di e a Marinetti, a letter from Boccioni and some letters addressed to Gerardo Dottori and Ottorino Coppa; the second one preserves the Youth diary 1919-1920, largely unpublished. The correspondence is entirely photocopied, while the Diary It is the result of the typewritten transcription of his daughter Viviana Bottai, a donor to the Fund.
