Perhaps it's a meeting between the artificial reality of the city and the natural reality of the landscape that we witness in the image of the Saltimbanco, who sinks one leg into the ground, while the other rises in a dance step, punctuated by the beat of the drum in his hands. The fanning universe, which, like the comings and goings of a wild wheel, revolves around him, pivots on him.

To interpret the figure, one can resort to the verses of Aldo Palazzeschi in Incendiario: “Who am I? Am I perhaps a poet? Who am I? The acrobat of my soul.”
