Primo Conti's celebrated " Coconut House" still resonates with the joy of the Neapolitan summer and the freshness of colors rendered pure by the nature of water, light, and air. It is a beautiful example of the absolute novelty of Conti's Futurism, enlivened by the synthetic experience of earlier Fauvism and its clear approach to surface values. This also explains the use of collage inserted directly into the oil paint, not to distort or widen the surface, but to further emphasize it, almost like a precious fragment of the universe. The tip of the curtain and the still life on the counter, which wedge toward the woman's swaying body, suspend the entire composition in a poetic moment, as if in a flickering revelation.
