Decidedly rare in Conti's dreamy, nocturnal flair, this brightly lit view offers a bird's-eye view of Antignano in the almost Cubist style of Braque and Picasso's early landscapes, which the perfect volume of the houses and the carefully spaced spaces between them evoke. The haze that wafts in the air leads the eye from a purely mental state to the dimension of the state of mind, and opposes every visual and physical limit with an exorbitant, somehow elusive, measure.
