The Futurist theme, of Macchiaioli influence, of a woman sewing in an interior is here entrusted to pure drawing, laid out in rapid notations directly on the panel. The initial idea thus combines with an unprecedented post-Impressionist approach. efauve, which reconciles the author's two interests in this period.
