The network MUSEUMS FOR ALL offers OnSite Sound Memories, the Mobile app available in the Archaeological Area of Fiesole, in the Primo Conti Museum, in the Innocenti Museum and in the Palazzo Vecchio Museum, together with a kit composed of a dedicated audio device, a tactile navigation map and special bone conduction headphones, which allow you to experience museums in a new immersive mode, in which sound becomes a further key to accessing the reading of the works, the architecture and the part of the city that hosts them.
The museums of the Network, in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Florence, are organizing a calendar of special visits in which sighted and non-sighted people will share the same experience:
Participants will be guided to explore the different soundscapes, thus activating a suggestive relationship with the works and the museum environments, beyond the visual channel.
