Poster for the exhibition "Osvaldo Peruzzi. Futurist Geometric Splendor"

Livorno, October 18, 2024-In the year of the 20th anniversary of the death of artist Osvaldo Peruzzi, Fondazione Livorno is hosting the exhibition Futurist Geometric Splendor, curated by Massimo Duranti and Andrea Baffoni, in its exhibition halls. The exhibition, which can be visited from Oct. 25, 2024, to Feb. 23, 2025, is in continuity with the path set up in 2023 at the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome and includes about 100 works including paintings, drawings, correspondence and documents. Theopening will be held in the spaces of Fondazione Livorno (Piazza Grande 23, Livorno) on Friday, October 25 at 5 pm

The exhibition was made possible thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the artist's heirs, custodians of some of the most significant works, the Municipality of Livorno, the Primo Conti Foundation of Fiesole, the State Archives of Milan, the Archivio Dottori Cultural Association, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna of Rome, and the Department of Culture – Superintendence of Cultural Heritage of Rome. The exhibition is also accompanied by a catalog published by Gangemi Editore that illustrates the works, critical texts, and bio-bibliographical apparatus.
