It's Marta Lamalfa, with his splendid debut novel “The island where the females fly", Published by Neri pozza, the winner of the XXXIII edition of the Fiesole Under-40 Fiction AwardThe award ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 16, at a new location and time. Municipality of Fiesole and the jury will meet you for the first time at the Teatro di Fiesole, in Largo Piero Farulli 1, at 16.00 pm.

Chaired by Franco Cesati and composed of Caterina Briganti, Silvia Gigli, Marcello Mancini, Gloria Manghetti, Fulvio Paloscia, Lorella Romagnoli and Francesco Tei, the jury chose Marta Lamalfa's book among the others that made up the tercet: “The Last Wizard"of Francesca Diotallevi, also published by Neri Pozza, and “Our great nothing"of Emanuele Aldrovandi, released instead by Einaudi.

During the ceremony, as always, the special prizes will also be awarded, which this year will go to Lombardi-Tiezzi Company for the brilliant theatrical path with which they have been able to revisit the classics making them contemporary, Angelo Foletto, for the book I planted many trees, published by Libreria Musicale Italiana, with which he takes a poetic and almost epic journey into the world of music, and finally to Christian Godano, writer and voice of the Marlene Kuntz, one of the most important alternative rock groups on the Italian scene, interpreters of an entire generation.
